Status:
Will receive written requisitions from physicians for routine or
special laboratory tests; Receive specimens such as urine, blood, feces,
sputum etc., and obtain various chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and
serologic tests to obtain the requested analysis. Write up all test
findings and submit to the physician; Label and retain the specimens in
the laboratory for further reference and research; Perform routine and
special hematology tests, clinical chemistry tests, blood count and
morphology tests; Perform stat and routine hormonal assays; Maintain internal
quality control programs and record and evaluate quality control tests; Use ELISA,
Radio-Immuno Assay (RIA) Coulter Counting and other machines.
